How many times have you daydreamed about being aboard a luxurious cruise ship? Feel the salty breeze of the sea touch your face and witness the wondrous sun fall into the sea to sleep. A person will experience sea sickness if his brain continuously receives too many or mixed movements from the eyes and the ears. Since movement is inevitable in traveling, especially by sea, most of the time the balance mechanisms of our body experiences certain problems.
If you want to prevent this uneasiness during your travel, take medicine about one hour before departure time. Remember to choose the section of the ship that suffers the least movement. It is advisable to eat lightly before and during the trip; however, it is not recommended to drink alcoholic beverages.
If you already feel dizzy, nauseous or weak, you may take slow deep breaths and look forward, that is, at the horizon or at any stationary object. You should also avoid physical discomforts such as cold droughts and unfriendly smells. If these things still do not work, try to sleep the sickness off.
With these tips, sea sick travelers could enjoy their luxurious cruise more than they could have ever imagined.

You will know you are suffering Athlete’s Foot if you find that your foot often gets itchy. Other than this, the skin on your feet would be cracked, scaling, and peeling; there could also be blisters. If you are already suffering Athlete’s Foot in the advanced stage, the skin on your toe webs will be white and soggy, there will be an unpleasant odor, you will have crumby white and thickening toe nails and there will be pain in the infected areas.
It is evident that anyone who suffers this infection is truly faced with a great nuisance that could embarrass and cause a lot of discomfort. To prevent this, you should always keep your feet clean. Before putting on foot wear, be sure that your feet is dry, especially your toe webs. Make sure that whatever you cover your feet with- be it shoes, socks, or sandals- is clean. Blood is life. It is one of the most important things in the human body. Many people die each year because of loosing too much of this precious element; a usual caused is severe bleeding. Severe bleeding may occur in various parts of the body; it could happen anywhere on the torso or on the limbs.
If the wound is on the torso, stopping severe bleeding would require you to apply firm pressure on the wound by using your fingers until a clot is formed. After this, try to procure yourself a sterile bandage, if none is available, you may use any piece of clean cloth; place the bandage over the wound before pressing. If you find yourself dealing with a large and gaping wound, pinch the edges of he wound together until the bleeding subsides. Again, dress the wound with a sterile bandage or any clean cloth.
In any accident, mild or severe wounds may present themselves almost anywhere in the body. What if the severe wound is on the limb of the person? In this case, make the person lie down and raise his wounded limb as high as possible; this is an effective way to reduce or stop bleeding. When the bleeding is reduced or completely stopped, you may then put a dressing on the wound. Remember to bandage it tightly but not too tight.
After some time, if the bleeding resumes or does not stop, put another dressing on top of the first one and bandage it again.
Saving the blood of a person is tantamount to saving the person’s life.
